Janome's Skyline S3 is specially designed with you in mind. This easy-to-operate sewing machine makes creating simple and enjoyable. Choose from 120 built-in stitches,
7 one-step buttonholes, and 1 alphabet. Use the speed control slider to adjust sewing speeds up to 820 stitches per minute. The unique design of the Skyline S3 allows it to
sew smoothly with less operating noise than other machines. Stitches and machine settings can be easily selected using the backlit LCD screen. With the Superior Feed System Plus,
you can feed the thickest, multi-layer projects with ease. The 7-piece feed dog moves in conjunction with the presser foot to ensure a consistent feed.
With 71 unique needle positions, you can pinpoint the exact starting point while sewing decorative stitches, applique, and free motion quilting.
STITCHES, ALPHABETS, BUTTONHOLES
Choose from a diverse collection of stitch options on Janome's S3. This powerful machine is fully equipped with 120 built-in stitches, seven one-step buttonholes, and an alphabet. There are utility, stretch, heirloom, decorative stitches, and more packed into this machine. Your machine can also sew square buttonholes, round end, keyhole, stretch, and welted buttonholes.
LED LIGHTS
Never miss a stitch with the four LED lights built in the machine. These super bright lights help illuminate your workspace and reduce eye fatigue, allowing you to sew or quilt for longer stretches.
FOOT PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT DIAL
Reduce or increase the foot pressure according to the material being sewn; lightweight and stretchy fabrics require more pressure while heavier fabric requires less. This feature ensures consistent stitches on all fabric types.
WORK SPACE
The Skyline S3 allows you to sew large projects with ease. This machine features 8.25" to the right of the needa and 4.7" of clearance under the arm. The entire bed of the machine measures 13" long by 8.25" wide.
71 NEEDLE POSITIONS
The Skyline S3 offers 71 unique needle positions to get pinpoint accuracy for decorative stitching, appliqué, and free motion quilting. Navigating through all of these choices is easy using the backlit LCD screen.
MEMORIZED NEEDLE UP/DOWN
Press this button to raise or lower the needle. It will stay in its assigned position until the button is pressed again. This feature is useful when sewing curved seams or turning corners.
SUPERIOR FEED SYSTEM PLUS (SFS+)
The Skyline S3 is equipped with a 7-piece feed dog that moves in tandem with the presser foot, ensuring a consistent fabric feed.
ONE TOUCH BUTTONS
Navigate through the features on your S3 with the six convenient one-touch buttons along the front. This machine features a start/stop, reverse, auto-lock, needle up/down, thread cutter, and a speed control slider.
DROP FEED
The Skyline S3 allows you to drop your feed dogs with the flip of a switch. With the feed dogs lowered, you can free-motion quilt, sew buttons, and more.
FREE ARM WITH BUILT-IN STORAGE
Once you remove the auxiliary bed, you can access your machine's free arm and sew cylindrical items such as pants and sleeves. Also located in the bed of the S3 is a small storage space for bobbins, needles, and other small notions.
